For the first reading, "What does it mean to be educated," I would say that the beginning was the most interesting. It does a very good job of pulling you in with an interesting personal story from the author. After hearing the story it makes you start forming questions already to what the passage is about. The story involves talking about the author's wife's history. For most of her life she has been going through school. Even though she had been going to school her whole life, she actually wasn't that smart. While being educated in something. She wasn't well rounded.
